Crazy Halloween Costume
Do you remember the “Alien” movies? Well here is a photo I got to my inbox earlier today. They modified a children’s chicken outfit to make it look that little bit more disturbing. I can’t understand as to why parents would every put their kid in something like this. IMHO this is pretty irresponsible. This is a whole other league to the dressing up dogs post.
Personally I find it offensive. What do you think about parents that do things like this to their children ?

Seriously, how can you construe this as being any more manipulative than wearing any other costume? Just because it’s more gory and more clever than your average costume doesn’t mean it’s somehow evil and hurting the kid.
He’ll probably just get more attention than the other kids, and kids thrive on attention so whats the problem?

As for the people getting offended…seriously…get a fuckin sense of humor. They aren’t putting the baby in a dangerous situation. They simply dressed him up in a holloween costume. This country is getting ridiculous with all the PC bullshit. People get offended over the smallest things now. How about taking a step back and realizing the truly important things instead of wasting time being offended by a parent’s poor choice in a holloween costume for their kid.

whats the difference between humiliating your pets by dressing them up in costumes and humiliating your kids by dressing them up in costumes.
They did it because it is funny. Just because it isn’t funny to you doesn’t make it less so. You are entitled to your opinion, just as the parents are entitled to theirs. Calling it irresponsible is another matter. Why is it irresponsible? Is the child in danger? Is the costume a choking hazard? Just because you don’t like it doesn’t make it irresponsible. If you don’t like it, turn the page/change the channel and move on.

Yeah, get a sense of humour! I really don’t think you should be getting angry about people who dress their kids up for Halloween in a costume that is a bit gory. Maybe there is more deserving things to get angry about, like parents who actually physically or sexually abuse their children?? It’s not like dressing them up is going to scar them for life. People who get angry about this kind of thing are the kind of people who just like to judge others in order to feel better about themselves. Take a good look at yourself!
As for me, I think that it was not funny to dress the child like that. What really is funny about that? But realy you all are being kind of stupid and saying that you shouldn’t judge people and move on with your lives but still you write about it and you judge the people for judging the child!!

I think the costume is amazing, and just because it’s not all “cute and cuddly” doesn’t make the parents irresponsible. Thats what Halloween is all about. And to the person that said they should get rid of Halloween. You are ridiculous. If thats the case then we should get rid of Christmas too.

Even if this photo was real, the child is too young to realize what’s going on first of all, and it has no concept of “blood and guts.” Besides, why would an alien burst out of a chicken? Haha.
