    Dog slippers for a pug

    February 26th, 2011

Here is Simon, he’s 2 years old and loves wearing slippers around the house. This is due to the fact that when he goes out to play with other pugs, he tends to get his paws dirty. The doggie slippers are suitable for the winter for keep you dogs paws warm. Simon doesn’t really like his picture taken, but he does look cute, don’t you think ?

Don’t worry the slippers are fake and not made out of real pugs.

    Dog Schools

    February 23rd, 2011

Here is Jason and his dog Ben. As you can see Ben is looking at some other website that’s not ours, but we won’t hold it agains him. Ben is just a puppy, but already knows when to be quite, and during law lectures at school is certainly one of those times. Some dogs don’t want to be left on their own, and Ben is one of these types. When he’s not attending dog school, he likes long walks, and chasing after his tail.
Are you allowed to bring your dog to class ?

    Fancy Poodle

    February 21st, 2011

Here is a dog that Martin spotted in down town Charlotte, NC. We are lost for words, we really are. The attention to detail on the poddle here is amazing, must look at the “wings”.
I’m sure it took a few hours to wash the dog after this !

    Dogs with hats

    February 15th, 2011

If you love your dog as much as we do, you will know that the last thing you want for them is to have them being cold. In the winter time, many people decide to get dog costumes for their pets. These costumes are generally quite funny, while being pretty functional. If you think that a whole body costume is too much, then maybe you can consider getting a doggie hat. Here is Barley, he’s almost 1, and he loves having his hat on when he ventures out doors.

If you have a picture to submit to us, perhaps one with your dog with his/her hat on, please drop us a note and attach it to the email address

    Dog dressed like a donkey

    February 10th, 2011

Recently we had Elvis sporting his sheep dog costume, and now it’s time for another farm yard costume. This time it’s Buddy, dressed up like a donkey. This costume has cute little ears, a tail (not seen in the picture) and a little tuft of hair. I must admit that Buddy doesn’t really look so happy with his outfit, but maybe we caught him on a bad day or something.

    Cheer up Bud !

    The sheep dog costume

    February 7th, 2011

Winning the cuteness award this week, is Shawn, aka. Elvis the pug. He’s dressed up in a sweet sheep costume, that comes with horns ! Not only will Elvis look classy on the streets, but he will also be kept warm during the cold snaps. Elvis wants to take his costume out into the woods to see if he can trick any sheep, but that will have to wait for another day.

    Ten Commandments for dog owners

    February 3rd, 2011

Here is a nice poster that was send to us recently, thanks Bradley ! It outlines 10 important rules for taking care of your dog throughout his life. These will help you be a better pet owner.

    For Pet Owners

    1. My life is likely to last 10 to 15 years. Any separation from you will be very painful.
    2. Give me time to understand what you want from me. Do not break my spirit with your temper, though I will always forgive you. Your patience will teach me more effectively.
    3. Please have me spayed or neutered.
    4. Treat me kindly, my beloved friend, for no heart in all the world is more grateful for your kindness than mine. Don’t be angry with me for long, and don’t lock me up as punishment. After all, you have your job, your friends, your entertainment. I have only you.
    5. Speak to me often. Even if I don’t understand your words, I understand your voice when it’s speaking to me. Your voice is the sweetest sound I ever hear, as you must know by my enthusiasm whenever I hear your footsteps.
    6. Take me in when it’s cold and wet. I’m a domestic animal and am no longer accustomed to the bitter elements. I ask for little more than your gentle hands petting me. Keep my bowl filled with water. Feed me good food so that I may stay well, to romp and play and do your bidding. By your side, I stand ready, willing and able to share my life with you, for that is what I live for. I’ll never forget how well you’ve treated me.
    7. Don’t hit me. Remember, I have teeth that could easily crush the bones in your hand, but I choose not to bite you.
    8. Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I’m not getting the right food, I’ve been out in the sun too long, or my heart may be getting weak.
    9. Take care of me when I get old. For you will grow old, too.
    10. When I am old, or when I no longer enjoy good health, please do not make heroic efforts to keep me going. I am not having fun. Just see to it that my trusting life is taken gently. And be with me on that difficult journey when it’s time to say goodbye. Never say, “I just can’t bear to watch.” Everything is easier for me when you are there. I will leave this earth knowing with my last breath that my fate was always safest in your hands. I love you.
